Are you interested in carving yourself a career in fashion and connecting with industry mentors? The Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund is for students of Black, African-American, or African descent.
The ”Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund is the brainchild of the late fashion trailblazer, Virgil Abloh, and was launched in July 2020 at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement.
It was introduced to ”foster equity and inclusion within the fashion industry by providing scholarships to students of academic promise of Black, African-American, or African descent, supporting the next generation of Black fashion industry leaders”, according to a press release.
The ”Post-Modern” scholarship is funded through donations; to date, it has racked up over one million US dollars.
