With tuition fees soaring and food priced at one of its highest in recent years, it sure wouldn’t hurt to stretch the pound further in post-Brexit United Kingdom. Couple that with the meager student allowance, it’s nice to learn of ways to save even just pennies.

Here are six categories students can get discounts in as revealed by Buzzfeed to help you shop without burning a hole in your pocket. They use a combination of the National Union of Students (NUS) card, the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and external sites like Unidays.

1. Clothes

Get 10 percent off in-store at Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and New Look with your NUS card. The discount gets higher online with retailers like BoohooMissguided and Pretty Little Thing. But remember – you need to sign up with Unidays to get your shopping code first.

2. Shoes

Office and Schuh will give you 10 percent off when you present a valid student card at their stores. To get a discount code online, both retailers require you to verify your student status at Unidays and you’ll get a discount code instantly.

3. Music

Spotify Premium comes with a not-so-premium price if you register via Unidays or NUS Extra. Instead of paying £9.99 (US$12.55) per month, students get a 50 percent discount, giving you a ton of music for less than a fiver per month.

That’s enough music to let you craft a “break-up” playlist (it was arranged ‘Do You… / Still / Want To / Kiss Me / Because / I Am / Kinda Lovin / Someone Else / But / We Can Still Be Friends‘) like Kristen Titus from Brigham Young University did.

4. Food

McDonald’s will give you a free McFlurry, cheeseburger or mayo chicken with the purchase of any extra-value or wrap meal when you show your student ID (or Unidays login).

Participating Co-op supermarkets offers a 10 percent discount to students with NUS Extra cards. Now you can get more creative with your beans on toast!

5. Transport

Enjoy a 25 percent student discount when you book a trip via National Express online with a code via Unidays. For air travel, keep an eye out for promotions on youth and student travel company, STA Travel.

6. Gadgets

At Dell’s and Canon’s online stores, enjoy discount up to 15 percent via a shopping code from Unidays. They both come with free delivery right to your residence halls. If you’re an Apple fan, you’ll get to enjoy Apple’s Education pricing if you verify your student or staff status via Unidays.
