With tuition fees soaring and food priced at one of its highest in recent years, it sure wouldn’t hurt to stretch the pound further in post-Brexit United Kingdom. Couple that with the meager student allowance, it’s nice to learn of ways to save even just pennies.
Here are six categories students can get discounts in as revealed by Buzzfeed to help you shop without burning a hole in your pocket. They use a combination of the National Union of Students (NUS) card, the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and external sites like Unidays.

Spotify Premium comes with a not-so-premium price if you register via Unidays or NUS Extra. Instead of paying £9.99 (US$12.55) per month, students get a 50 percent discount, giving you a ton of music for less than a fiver per month.
