With reduced tuition eligibility for international students, the university also wants to eradicate any financial constraints holding you back from fulfilling your academic potential and opting for a US study abroad adventure.

For international freshmen, Millersville reduces students’ out-of-state tuition rate by US$6,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years/eight consecutive semesters. Please note that students must maintain a good academic standing, as determined by the university, in order to maintain the adjustment.

And if you’re a transfer student, your rate will be reduced by approximately US$4,000 per year, renewable for three consecutive years/six consecutive semesters. Much like the above, students must also maintain a good academic standing as determined by the university to maintain the adjustment.

Another thing to be aware of is that incoming transfer students must be international students (F-1 visa holders) to receive the reduction.

If you’re an incoming transfer student, you may transfer from either an in-state or out-of-state college or university, and if you’re a student transferring from a non-US institution, you must have at least 12 transferable credits.

Millersville will also send you relevant paperwork and instructions and connect you to an international admissions officer if necessary, and upon acceptance, they’ll enrol you in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and provide you with visa-related documents.

While the term ‘fast track’ can sometimes relate to a high pressure or rushed admissions process, it’s not like that at Millersville.

For instance, the Online University Fair on December 1 happened via the fast track, enabling Saudi students who were impacted by the Saudi-Canadian dispute to pursue their studies in North America, regardless of current global issues.
