The University of East Anglia is offering six scholarships for Indian students looking to pursue their postgraduate studies. The scholarships are offered by various departments at the university to students applying to master’s courses in the 2022-23 academic year.
UEA India Award
The University of East Anglia notes that all Indian students applying to a postgraduate course at the university will be automatically awarded this scholarship. The award is worth:
- £4,000 if you meet UEA entry requirements
- £5,000 if your final undergraduate grade is 65% or above
- £5,000 if your LLB is 60%+
International Development
This award by the School of International Development has a total value of £8,000. Three awards are available for master’s applicants from India. The deadline for this scholarship is May 31, 2022. Eligibility requirements include:
- Be a graduate of any international institution
- Hold a degree with a classification of 2:1 (or international equivalent)
- To have secured an offer of a place to study your chosen MA or MSc course
The School of International Development
The School of International Development is offering competitive scholarships equal to full EU or international fees to students taking any of the School of International Development’s full-time master’s courses. It has a total value of £17,600. This scholarship award covers full-time EU/international tuition fees. Eligibility requirements include:
- Be a graduate of any international institution
- Hold a degree with a classification of 2:1 (or international equivalent)
- To have secured an offer of a place to study your chosen MA or MSc course
Economics: MSc Academic and Professional Scholarships (International)
The University of East Anglia’s School of Economics is offering competitive scholarships equal to full international fees (£19,000) and 50% of international fees (£9,500) to students taking any of the School of Economics’ MSc Academic and professional programmes:
- MSc Economics
- MSc Finance and Economics
- MSc Behavioural and Experimental Economics
- MSc Competition Economics and Policy
UEA Law School
The UEA law school is offering two competitive scholarships equal to £8,000 tuition fee reduction for LLM applicants from each of the following countries: India, Nigeria, Turkey and Vietnam. Eight awards are available per year. Eligibility requirements include:
- Be a graduate of any International institution
- A national of one of the above countries
- Hold a degree with a classification of 2:1 (or international equivalent)
- To have secured an offer of a place to study your chosen LLM course
Economics MSc Applied Training Scholarships
The School of Economics is offering a competitive scholarship worth up to £5,000 to the best applicant from Africa, Asia, South and Central America. Candidates must be applying for one of the MSc Applied Training programmes:

- MSc Economics of Money, Banking and Capital Markets
- MSc International Business Finance and Economics
- MSc Global Media Economics
- MSc Quantitative Financial Economics
