Companies are racing to adopt artificial intelligence, with 92% planning to increase AI investments over the next three years. But only 1% of leaders say their organisations are truly advanced in using it. They’re seeking professionals who can combine deep technical expertise with human-centred leadership, a rare mix often called T-shaped skillsets.
Enter Saint Louis University, home to the Chaifetz School of Business, which bridges this gap by fusing AI, leadership, and hands-on know-how to meet the evolving needs of today’s organisations.
The school builds on a long history of innovation in education. Since its founding in 1910, it has supported engaged students, accomplished faculty, and nationally ranked programmes where personal and professional leadership have always been central. This legacy is reflected in US News & World Report’s recognition of Chaifetz as a top business school for graduate entrepreneurship, international business, and supply chain management. It is one of only eight schools nationwide, and the only one in the region, to earn that distinction.

Future-ready initiatives, the Chaifetz way
Business is moving faster than ever, and the school knows it. That’s why Chaifetz’s one‑year graduate programmes are now built around three signature initiatives: Chaifetz ai, Dignity-Based Leadership, and Co-op3 ™.
The Chaifetz ai initiative introduces students to an intentional approach to AI, enhancing learning while supporting them to become future leaders with insight into AI and human behaviour. An AI enterprise platform accelerates and deepens learning further. It gives you immediate feedback, tracks your critical thinking, and provides personalised mentoring that help you reach your goals.
Whether you choose the Chaifetz ai MBA ™ or one of the four specialised master’s programmes — Chaifetz ai MS Finance ™, Chaifetz ai MS Supply Chain Management ™, Chaifetz ai MS Applied Economics ™, or Chaifetz ai MS Accounting ™ — AI tools and insights will be part of your curriculum.
This is complemented by the school’s Dignity-Based Leadership curricular and co-curricular training. You’ll learn how to build dignity and a sense of belonging in meetings, lead teams, and manage projects effectively. You can even use a specially designed AI agent during sessions to help you practise these human-centred leadership skills.
This is the kind of combination of technical expertise and leadership that completes your T-shaped profile. “I definitely felt more prepared about taking a new role, to really become a leader,” says Erick Prado, a graduate who is now a Business Unit Controller at AnazaoHealth.

The third and final initiative is Co-op3, a cooperative education programme. Through six-month, full-time, paid work assignments, you gain real-world experience while earning income that can help with tuition. The programme allows you to immerse in your chosen industry, whether it is business, finance, accounting, marketing, technology, or management. Co-op3 gives you a head start on your career while connecting what you learn in class to actual business challenges.
These initiatives come together to offer a future-ready, uniquely Chaifetz business education. By joining technical skills, ethical leadership, and hands-on experience, the school equips you to stand out as a leader in an AI-driven, team-focused world.
“I’ll be in the workforce for 30 more years,” says David Nischwitz, a graduate who is currently the Director of Marketing at Drury Hotels. “I felt like this was a very good investment and one that will yield benefits for many years to come because you’re getting an accredited MBA programme. You’re getting Saint Louis University, a very strong brand both here locally and nationally.”
