Manchester Metropolitan University: Igniting talent through international scholarships

Manchester Metropolitan University is now offering a range of scholarships for international students to join their September 2020 intake.

Based in one of the UK’s most popular cities, and voted one of the best places to live in the world by the Time Out Best Cities Index 2019, Manchester Met ties a top location to an array of industry-relevant courses and scholarship opportunities.

As Manchester Met says, “Talent of all kinds thrive in Manchester. The city is full of innovation, creativity and spark; it’s a place to get inspired.”

Start your future with a scholarship

Committed to recognising high-achieving students, Manchester Met wants to help learners from all over the world overcome any financial barriers that may hold them back from achieving their full potential.

If you’re eager to experience a creative and cultural study adventure in the UK, and you’re leaning towards courses at Manchester Met, you just might be eligible for one of many scholarships being offered.

For undergraduate applicants who are new to Manchester Met, there’s the International Undergraduate Scholarship.

If you’re awarded this scholarship, you’ll be granted £2,000 (≈US$2,958) for every year of study in the full-time taught undergraduate programme.

But you must hold an offer for a full-time taught programme – either three-year, four-year sandwich, or with an integrated foundation year programme – that starts in September 2020 to be eligible for this scholarship.

For postgraduate applicants, they can opt for the International Postgraduate Scholarship.

This scholarship offers high-achieving applicants up to £2,500 (≈US$3,247) for every year of study in the full-time taught Master’s programme. Applicants must plan to start their studies in September 2020 to be eligible.

Additionally, Manchester Met offers the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships.

These exclusive scholarships are open to exceptional international students who enrol on a full-time taught programme in September 2020. Each to the value of £5,000 (≈US$6,494).

“When applying for a scholarship, make sure to address the main points stated in the essay questions and mention your personal experiences as much as possible,” advised Fareehah, a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship recipient.

Please note that all scholarship opportunities above are open to non-EU applicants only.
