    1. Study International’s ‘How to find your dream degree’

Not to toot our own horn, but we think this is as good a place to start as any.

Our “How to find your dream degree” webinar was hosted by our Senior Education Editor, Lee Lian Kong, and our resident China Specialist, Sheng Ping Sooi. Kong, a lawyer-turned-writer, studied in three Malaysian universities, one in the UK, and one in the US. Meanwhile, Sooi has studied at two Taiwanese universities and has participated in an exchange programme at a Thai institution.

They aren’t the only ones in the team who have studied abroad too. We have writers who’ve shared about their experiences learning to cope with homesickness and dealing with bad faculty advisors; Kong puts it simply: we’ve been there and done that, and now we’re here to pass on some valuable insights to someone following in our – and millions of other people’s – footsteps.

In this free webinar, as the title suggests, Kong and Sooi discuss ways to find your dream degree. Spoiler alert: there are precisely three strategies shared, and we’re certain they’ll guide you onto the right path.

    2. University of East Anglia’s ‘How To Get A Head Start On Your University Application’

The webinar will take place on June 10, 2025. For more information, visit UEA’s page here.

    3. The Princeton Review’s ‘A Walk Through the Common App’

One common way of applying for university, especially in the US and Canada, is through the Common App, an undergraduate college admission application.

But as with any new app, it will take you some time to learn how to navigate it, and any error might lead to unwanted outcomes. Luckily, the Princeton Review offers many free webinars, such as their walk-through of the Common App, to help you navigate this upcoming challenge.

There, expect to learn how to traverse the app and its many functions and features, and perhaps you might walk away learning about a few new universities that you’ve never heard of too.

The webinar will take place on August 6, 2025. For more information, visit Princeton Review’s page here.
