The University of Rzeszów was established by law on 1 September 2001. Over the past 25 years, it has grown into the largest public university in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and a leading centre of education, research, and innovation in Poland.

Today, the University offers more than 80 study programmes across a wide range of disciplines and has grown into a vibrant international academic community. It welcomes students from around the world through programmes taught in English, including its flagship Medicine, Programme in English.

The University of Rzeszow is located in Rzeszow – the largest city in southeastern Poland and the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
