Ivy League heavyweight Princeton University landed top college rank in this year’s national league table, but now the institution has also been named among the best colleges in the United States for international students, according to US News & World Report.
Located in New Jersey, Princeton is famed for its historic grounds which are enjoyed by 5,400 undergraduate students.
Those listed are “institutions that offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus master’s and doctoral programs” and “are successfully supporting their international students both in and outside of the classroom.”
US News used a methodology which considered academic factors such as the six-year graduation rate for international students, as well as social and cultural supports, like the availability of international student organisations.

It seems America’s top schools not only excel academically, but also in terms of supporting students from abroad.
In the reputed national rankings, Yale University came in after Princeton, followed by Columbia University tied fifth with Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The University of Pennsylvania and Duke University were placed equal ninth.
