Australia’s Northern Territory reopens to international students

As of Dec. 20, 2021, NT border restrictions have lifted for fully vaccinated individuals from abroad and other states. International students are finally allowed to start or resume their education in the Northern Territory once again.

Fully vaccinated visitors are welcome to enter the Northern Territory without having to quarantine. Unvaccinated individuals are not permitted to enter unless they have received authority to enter the Northern Territory, where they will be required to undertake 14 days mandatory supervised quarantine at their own cost.

NT border entry rules and requirements

Before you enter NT, you would need the proper entry requirements and follow the rules listed. Here are what you need to follow:

• Complete a Border Entry Form before arriving in the NT
• Follow the testing regime
• You can travel anywhere in the Northern Territory except to an exclusion zone, within 14 days of your arrival to the NT.
• You will be required to download the G2G Now app
