3) DAKTARI Bush School and Wildlife Orphanage – South Africa

This insightful programme in South Africa has been designed to give you the chance to teach local children, care for injured or abandoned wildlife and get fully immersed in the South African bush and culture.

Tasks may vary and you could be asked to bottle feed an animal, to clean their enclosures or pick up a hammer and renovate their homes!

4) Volunteer in Construction and Renovation – Guatemala

The Maximo Nivel collection of volunteering programmes features a great construction programme in Guatemala.

Led by professional local foremen in each country, you’ll learn how to build, cut, mix, paint and install – teaching you how to truly help a community!

5) Marine Conservation Volunteering & Scuba Diving – Caribbean

The Caribbean Reef Buddy company wants you to help them to preserve and protect the vibrant coral reefs in Grenada.

On this programme, you’ll swim with Hawksbill and Green Turtles in the stunning Tobago Cays Marine Park and take remote island trips with your fellow volunteers to witness more spectacular wildlife.

Please note that some of the volunteering programmes above come at a cost. Fundraising is a great way to pay the fees and raise awareness on campus of your eco efforts.
