“Yes, I will submit the assignment, but first I need to waft away the bitter stench of disappointment and wring out my cold tears…”
1. Everytime you sit down at your laptop it triggers some kind of PTSD…
2. Social life? What social life?!
3. You realise there are still parts of campus you’re yet to explore and have to resist the urge to run there right. NOW!
4. That feeling you get when every copy of the book you need for your next assignment has already been taken out the library…
5. The time you schedule for your studies will actually be taken up by full-bore adult meltdowns…
6. You’ve spent more nights in the library than you have in your own bed…
7. That feeling you get when people mention how many days you have left in the semester…
8. …And when someone brags about how much work they’ve done
9. …And when someone asks you how many graduate jobs you’ve applied for
10. When you’re trying to have fun but then the penny drops…

11. When you hear a first year complaining about Uni and you just feel so superior…
12. The feeling of impending doom when someone mentions ‘Dissertation’…
13. …And the way you feel three days before your dissertation deadline
14. …And the way you feel EVERYTIME you check your bank balance
15. Everytime you sit down to revise, you’re left wondering why your degree isn’t just in mind mapping…’cause then it’d be in the bag…
16. Then real life slaps you in the face on graduation day and you’re left wondering what all the fuss was about…
Happy third year, everyone!
