With his good looks, raw talent and keen eye for detail, this Taiwanese teacher has certainly got it going on…
Meet Chuan-Bin Chung, a lecturer at Shu-Te University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
He’s become somewhat of a celebrity among the students at his School – and it ain’t just ’cause he got pretty face!
Chuan-Bin Chung became a viral star after pictures of his detailed anatomical chalkboard sketches surfaced on the internet. His drawings are so lifelike and gosh-darn impressive, people actually mistook him for a lecturer at the University’s School of Medicine.
According to the BoredPanda, Chuan-Bin Chung is actually a teacher of Visual Design, and he has spent the past three years of his life lecturing students on the anatomy of arts, illustration and various painting skills.
Chung draws his chalkboard masterpieces so his students can appreciate the beauty of art alongside the intricacies of the human anatomy.
And boy, do we appreciate!
“Yes, we have a textbook. But we don’t read it, we draw it,” quotes BoredPanda. “Students majoring in this area cannot learn by just reading the pictures on books. Instead, we learn while drawing something. In my classes, students have to draw what I am demonstrating on the chalkboard.”
Chung even has his own YouTube account where he frequently posts videos of his illustration lectures, as well as many drawing skills he channels via other mediums.
The young teacher’s drawings are so detailed and precise, his students have described them as a “living textbook“.
Chung’s expertise have earned him swarms of swooning female fans on the web, with many saying his talent and dapper looks are enough to lure them straight back to the classroom – and frankly, I’d quite like to join them.
(And I can’t even draw…)
