Young and mid-career Malaysians can now apply for the Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program which will fully sponsor a year of non-degree graduate-level study in the US.
The Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs will fund the Fulbright Program which will select those with the potential for leadership and commitment to public service. Full funding to cover international travel, tuition and fees, books and monthly maintenance stipend will be awarded to successful applicants.
For the non-degree program, Humphrey Fellows will pursue the tailored study program at the 14 participating host institutions. Fellows will work with their local campus coordinator and faculty advisors to plan their self-directed and individualized program and activities.
In addition to this, there will be professional enrichment activities such as conferences, training programs and work attachments. The work attachment component will expose fellows full-time to an American workplace for a minimum period of 6 weeks.
