The Australian government’s Department of Education and Training has opened its Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships for applications for the 2018 academic year, SBS reports.

The program will finance individuals with strong academic credentials to pursue their Master’s and PhD in Australian universities, with the aim internationalising and bolstering the country’s higher education sector.

The award will cover the following:

  • establishment allowance of up to A$4,000
  • monthly stipend of A$3,000

For Master’s applicants, the scholarship will cover the duration of up to two years and for PhD applicants, four years. Meanwhile the Research Fellowships will last from four to six months.
