Mount Royal University

Why study at Mount Royal University

One of the hallmarks of Mount Royal is its approach to teaching. The Faculty of Teaching and Learning is a program unique to the university. It brings together several different academic units in an effort to inspire and support instructors as well as to enable them to conduct research into effective teaching strategies and the way in which students learn. Part of this initiative is a commitment to having all classes lead by professors rather than grad students. This translates into even more effective curriculum and a higher level of in-class engagement.

Mount Royal is located in Calgary against the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The campus is well-manicured, complete with ample green spaces, bold architecture and a full suite of facilities. And for the ultimate getaway, a relatively short drive delivers students into beautifully mountainous parkland, home to the iconic towns of Banff and Jasper.
